Robert’s true north as a coach is to support leaders in the rewarding, disorienting, and often high-stakes work of building new growth capacity—in their leadership, companies, careers, and lives. In 5+ years of coaching, he’s served as a supportive challenger to C-level and rising leaders navigating the realities of growth, transition, and change. He comes to this work not only as a coach, but as someone who’s been in the leader’s chair himself—co-founding startups, leading teams at public companies, and working alongside executive peers, boards, and investors.

Robert has coached leaders across the growth spectrum—from first-time CEOs to seasoned executives facing new investor dynamics. His clients include private equity and growth equity-backed CEOs, bootstrapped founders, executives in transition, and leaders in triad coaching collaboration with board chairs. What connects them is a shared desire to grow consciously and lead with clarity in the complex, fast-shifting reality of growth-stage business.

He is a PCC-certified coach and a graduate of Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. He also runs Highland Insights, a customer insights consultancy, and has served as a Board Director in both nonprofit and software organizations.

Deeply curious about what helps people grow—and what gets in the way, Robert is animated by the science-backed truth that we are not finished objects. We can continue to grow, rewire, and reimagine what’s possible at any time we wish to. As a coach, he helps clients pull up, see their patterns and relationships with fresh eyes, and chart more intentional, rewarding paths forward.

When not coaching, he’s likely to be hanging out with his wife and three daughters, building something with his hands, moving/hiking somewhere, sitting in a sauna or trying out various wellbeing increasers like breathwork and dipping into very cold bodies of water.
